Outings & adventures

We believe that our children benefit enormously from educational visits which provide ‘hands on’ learning and introduce them to a host of exciting new experiences.

There are wonderful places to visit locally and we regularly take children of almost all ages out on exciting and educational visits.

Recent trips have included The Tower of London, Port Lympne, Folkestone Coastal Park, East Sussex & Kent Railway, Pfizer Science Day, Margate Shell Grotto - Turner Gallery and Beach, Dover Tunnels, The Marlow Theatre and may more!

In addition to the day trips we also offer the following overnight opportunities.

Year 3, have an overnight camping experience in the school grounds.

Year 4, visit Rippledown, and environmental education centre, for 3 nights

Year 5, visit Kingswood Activity Centre in Ashford  for 4 nights.

Year 6 have an amazing outward bound adventure experience when they visit Le Chateau de Warsy in France for a week.

Not forgetting our annual ski trip to France, for pupils from Years 4 – 6.

You can read our blogs on our website during these visits.
