Friends of St Faith's

The Friends of St Faith’s is a group of parents and teachers who work together to enhance school life through social events and fundraising.

We meet regularly throughout the school year to plan activities such as the summer and Christmas fairs and the annual firework night extravaganza.

Through these events, and others, we raise money and in recent years the Friends has paid for new musical instruments, provided play time equipment and built the all-weather court.

We also hold ‘purely social’ events for parents and grandparents – with no agenda or fundraising. These include nights in the pub and coffee mornings as well as a yearly wine and wisdom.

The Friends is a great chance to meet other parents across all the year groups and to get involved in making St Faith’s an even better place for our children. You don’t have to join the committee to be involved although new members are always welcome. You could offer a couple of hours to help run a stall at one of our events or be a class representative.

A brilliant way to support the Friends is to join the 100 Club, a monthly draw with the prize pot growing the more people join. Details of how to get involved are below.

We are keen to hear from parents and pupils with new ideas so if you would like to find out more about the Friends, keep an eye on our noticeboard for future meeting dates, e-mail me at rebeccasmith.ash@gmail.com or call/text 07443 605873.

I look forward to meeting you.
